Call for talks

Show the room something that runs.

Formats

• Talk, 25 to 60 minutes. One thing you built or run, how it works, what broke. Ask for the time the material needs; a tight 25 beats a padded 60.
• Fireside, 45 minutes. Two or three people and a moderator on one hard topic. Open hardware, pool economics, optimizing an inference stack, keeping a meetup alive.
• Lightning demo, 5 minutes. Plug it in. Show it working. Sit down.

What we want

• Inference on hardware you own: what you serve, how fast, what it cost.
• Mining at home: the boards, the firmware, the power bill, the heat.
• Open hardware and open pools, from the people building them.
• The unglamorous parts: cooling, cabling, uptime, backups, neighbors.
• Community: how you started a meetup, how you kept it going, what you would do differently.

What we do not want

• Product pitches. If your talk needs a pricing slide, sponsor instead.
• Roadmaps. Show what runs today.
• Predictions about intelligence.
